Nancy Coldham – Founding Partner

Nancy started the company in 1981. Her career includes more than 30 years’ experience in journalism, public relations and public affairs consulting that include senior positions in federal, provincial and Commonwealth governments and responsibility for several award-winning, major campaigns. She is best known for her special creative perspective that is combined with her well-honed strategic capabilities giving campaigns and other client work an unbeatable edge. Nancy has spent years perfecting speech writing, ad copy, a/v script writing, publication skills and reputation management. Her expertise at issues and crisis management, brand support, media relations, successful press conferences, product launches, book tour promotions and well-planned, well-executed internal and external communications programs has benefited a number of major Canadian and multi-national corporations, professional associations and government agencies.

Prior to her entrepreneurial career, she worked as a speech writer for a federal Cabinet Minister, gained praise and recognition for her efforts with NASA in Australia and as a Visit Canada promotions co-ordinator for the Canadian Government Office of Tourism, including her success in generating global media coverage for the first Public Service Bureaucratic Olympics. She completed her journalism apprenticeship with Canadian Press Wire Service (Ottawa) and an Ottawa radio station.

Nancy accepted, on behalf of The CG Group, the 2006 Markham Business Excellence Award for INNOVATION. Nancy was nominated for a Canadian Women Entrepreneur of the Year LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT Award 2006.
